Invited by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Pathlight School began operations in January 2004 and is known to be one of the fastest growing and progressive special schools in Singapore. Pathlight School student enrolment has grown eight-fold from 41 in January 2004 to more than 377 students as of September 2007. Serving primarily children from six to eighteen years old with autism and related disorders, Pathlight is the first autism-focused school in Singapore that offers the mainstream academic curriculum, together with life readiness skills. Its mission is to provide a transformational learning journey for every pupil and develop each child to the best of his/her potential in both academic and life skills. And it is MyMailMoment’s mission to help these children realise their dreams – a new school building with IT and vocational training facilities to enable them to acquire technical skills for better career prospects.
